Not sure what to say?

Michele and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Jimmy Manning informed me of John's passing and I was able to attend.

John's funeral was quite the event. Many great memories were revisited of our neighborhood and grammar school experience. It was a sad time remembering the way it was.

My prayers are with you and your family.

John and I went through the Transit Police Academy in 1965. He was a wonderful person. My sincere sympathy to his Wife and family.

I only heard of John's passing last night. from my sister in Fla. My deepest sympathy & heavenly prayers to family & friends. I grew up in the So. Bronx, and went to the same parochial school as John. I remember him as a big, strong & gentle guy who never pushed his weight around. He was so easy to like. I last saw him a few years ago by the lake in Monroe. God Bless you John. I know you are in heaven. I'll light a candle & say a prayer for you today buddy. Until we meet again.

My thoughts and prayers are with your whole family. May your Dad rest in peace.

Michele and family, I am so sorry for your loss. Although I did not know John, I do know how much Michele loved him and all the kind words she spoke of him. Please know that I have your family in my prayer at this very sorrowful time.

Summer 2007

As Matthew's good friend, it was always a treat to visit the McKeon household. Uncle John ALWAYS greeted me with a hug and kiss whenever I arrived, and genuinely cared about the decisions we all made growing up. He made me feel like I was another son when I entered his house, more importantly he also made me feel like his friend. I love you Uncle John, I miss you already

McKeon Family and Claire:

We express our most heartfelt condolences to you all. Although we have not seen John in many years, he has shared many pleasant memories with us in our adolescent and young adult life. John & I were inseparable in grammar school and played daily in the very small confines of Sts Peter & Paul Parish and parts beyond as we dared expand our horizons. Helen & I were honored to have John as a Groom in our wedding party. We will miss him dearly. May his soul...

The McKeon Family

My deepest condolences with the passing of John.. I have many special memmories growing up "playing" with your father... the Halloween seances is just one great example. Again, my deepest sympathies. I will surely miss him!!

I'm very sorry for your loss. When I heard Mr. Mckeon was sick the first image that came to my mind was of him @ one of Matt's soccer games back @ DC,even as I type this I can see him standing on the sideline, the picture of perfect health. One of the things I'll remember about your dad was how interested he was in his kids' lives. This memory was followed by a whole bunch of memories of all those times I visited your houise and your parents were so nice to me. We had some really good times,...
