Not sure what to say?

John McKeon was known to me as Brother Peter, FSC, 56 years ago at St. John’s College High in D.C. I was a transfer senior; Brother Peter went out of his way to welcome me. Did not experience him as a teacher, but was blessed to have him as a counselor. If I recall properly, John was our spiritual director on a senior retreat at the Christian Brothers retreat house near Frederick, MD. Very thankful for his guidance helping me through the discernment process of a momentous decision....

I met John Mckeon, then Brother Peter, on my first day at St. John's High School. Having him as a teacher in several of my classes at St. John's, I found him to be a great teacher, a spiritual advisor, and a great friend. I was fortunate to see him again at our 50th class reunion in 2013, along with his wonderful wife Susan. John was a remarkable man and teacher, and we will all miss him. My sympathies to his family.

I knew Mr McKeon as Brother Peter. He was the first person I met as I ventured into St John’s High School as he interviewed me as a scared eighth grader. He assured me that if I worked hard that I would be successful and that he ( and the school ) would not let me fail. I lost track of him but am so glad to discover that he continued to touch, guide, and influenced others as he did me in the Spring of 1964. He was a great friend. Thank God for him and God bless his family and those he served...

Mr McKeon ( Brother Peter ) interviewed me for entrance into St John’s College High School in 1964. I was a scared 8th grader. In a calm manner he assured me that if I worked hard that St John’s would make me a better not only a better student but a better person. I trusted him ... and he was right.... Always wondered what happened to him. So glad he continued to touch others lives as he touched mine . What a great, wonderful and kind man ... God bless him, God bless his family, and God bless...

My home room teacher at St Johns HS for 2 years. Taught not only religion but how to live your life. Always provided great moral and spiritual guidance to all his students and tried his best to keep them on a straight path. Will miss him.

Mr. Mckeon was my guidance counselor many years ago. He was such a kind, gentle soul. He will most definitely be missed.

Mr. Mckeon was my guidance counselor at Paint Branch high school. He was one of the patient, caring men I’ve ever met. My thoughts are with you at this time.

Mr. McKeon was my guidance counselor at Paint Branch High School. I remember him as engaged with his students, a good listener and guiding hand to help you on your future path. My sympathies for your loss.
