We met John years ago at the Cherie Inn on a Friday morning for breakfast. We became good friends and had breakfast with him at the Cherie Inn almost every Friday morning thereafter. We met John through my wife's parents eating breakfast every Friday at the Cherie Inn with John. One of the most genuinely kind and delightful people I have ever had the pleasure of meeting, John was a gem. We will miss his gentle spirit, quick wit, and overall kindness.

John was one of the kindest and gracious persons I have ever met. He was one of the most self-aware people who monitored and adjusted prior to needing to do so. It was true when he moved from full time to part time pharmacy work ... from living in his own home to living at Clark ... from owning his own car to selling it and depending on public transportation. While John was quiet, he was attentive and incredibly insightful. I had the pleasure of serving as his pastor for nine years and I...
