Not sure what to say?

Jack was an industry friend and a great person. His sense of humor always amazed me. I am sure this will be a difficult holiday time for your entire family. My sympathy goes to all.

Jack will be missed by many. We have such great family memories on Waiola with the whole Mclaughlin Clan.

Dear Jeannine, We were very sorry to hear of John's passing in the newspaper. It seems like yesterday that we purchased your home at 112 S. Waiola -- it was actually 1976. I remember that Erin was asleep in her crib when we came to look at the house. How time does fly. We hope that your memories and the love of your family will bring you comfort at this sad time. Sincerely, Joe and Pat Lohr

Dear Jeannine,
All in La Grange extend our deepest sympathy on your loss. You have given so much to our village and the LGBA that can never be repaid. You will always be 'Resident Extraordinaire.'

As Colleen's old friend from high school, I have fond memories of "Big Jack"!
Condolences to the McLaughlin clan. I am truly sorry for your loss.

Condolences to the family from Jackie's cousin Mike.

Condolences to the family from his Uncle Bernard's youngest son.

I have worked with John's daughter Colleen in Minnesota. Colleen is an amazing person. So much of what she learned and what she now gives comes from her Dad. They are both very fortunate people to have had each other. A great part of John lives in Colleen and she shares it with us everyday. My prayers go out to both.

To you all:

Dear Jack, he became the gold standard for integrity in a man for me. For 47 years I have been privileged to know and love all of you and watch his love and respect for his family be boundless.

It's been a blessing to know you, Mr. McLaughlin.
