Not sure what to say?

I am sorry to do this but I was looking on the wrong calendar month and this sight doesn't let me delete my entries. I actually had my hole in one on August 23, 2013 not August 27, 2013 as I indicated in the previous post. The picture was taken August 18, 2013..............And I can think of only one reason I must of made the hole in one!!!!!!

Holding Phil's Claret jug trophy on Aug 22, 2013 and on August 27, 2013 I got my hole in one. Jack must have been looking down from heaven that day.

Having played for Jack in youth baseball, basketball and football, I reflect even to this day on the success achieved then and how that has translated throughout the rest of my life today. The ability to pursue excellence given your desire and heart to achieve it. Nothing is accomplished by just showing up, you have got to want to earn it through devotion of practicing("perfect practice).

He had a great heart and spent as much time as one needed to achieve their best (hitting drills,...

Jack was the Division Manager when I was hired in Western Sales, North Pacific Lumber in 1980. He was one tough, strict but fair manager. I had the experience of being interviewed by Jack. His passion for the company and industry was admirable. I am sorry for your loss.

Our families didn't see each other often, but when the Spokane/Portland area cousins did connect, it was always a good visit with Jack and Isabelle, we never felt like strangers. They are good people. Thinking of Jack today and sending prayers to Isabelle, Karen, Marilyn, Phyllis, and their families.

Always there to throw extra batting practice or open up the gym for extra shooting - it's hard not to think back on my childhood without a smile and memories of Jack. He always said "Sports are played with your heart first" - coach McLaughlin had one of the biggest of them all . . .

While saddened by Jack's passing, know that he had a lasting influence on many of us who had the privilege to call him coach.

Celebrating a life well lived. We cherish memories like Jack at baseball tournaments and his passion for having great athletic experiences for all the boys, and Isabelle at the concession stand wit h hot dogs, popcorn and sno cones.

Jack and his family has always been my favorite patient's my heart goes out to the family

My memories of Jack are equal parts fear and esteem. He was a pillar during my youth coaching both my baseball and basketball teams. He was a such a nice guy but also possessed an intensity, drive and competitive nature that was instilled into all of us. I'll never forget the day the Green Machine beat our arch rivals Gladstone and the pride we all felt when we were able to go on to the state tournament. Jack and Isabelle were both so kind and generous with their time and home during those...
