Not sure what to say?

Having just now received a reminder notice to continue remembering and honoring John, my thought is that John will not be forgotten...his focus, dedication, and accomplishments were unequalled. John was a tremendous inspiration. His spirit will always be before us

Dear family, this is just a short additional note to my previous entry, to let you know that I am thinking of you, at this special time of year. Just as I did with your mom, I spent considerable time with your dad, and his legacy remains in my thoughts and memories. Wishing you peace, and warm Christmas memories. Love, Sharon

Dear Mary Jean and family, I am truly sorry that John is now not with us all. I was shocked, stunned and extremely saddened when I was told about John's passing while I was attending a conference in Kansas City. I just wish I could have been with you all to share in paying homage and tribute to one of New Jersey's best. God bless John and God bless you all.

Mary Jean, all the McLaughlin Children and Grandchildren- what an honor to have known your Husband, Dad and Grandfather. Here was a man who was so accomplished yet the biggest twinkle in his eye was about what was going on with his family. I smiled when he spoke about Mary Jean, his sweet, fun loving wife. She would encourage him about his books and he would tell her that he couldn't write them without her editing them and helping him. Their comfortable banter warmed my heart and totally...
