Not sure what to say?

Judge McLaughlin was a great individual. I met him through politics. For a few years, I had heard nothing but positive things about him. When I finally had the opportunity to meet and talk with him, it was obvious why so many people liked and respected him.

The knowledge that he would refer to Kearny as Camelot, is no surprise. Judge McLaughlin, like so many of us, cut his political teeth, at a time when the Democrats and America were at their most optimistic. Knowing an...

Judge McLaughlin was a man I will never forget. He always put others before himself. He was always fair in the courtroom and wonderful to those who worked for him. It is sad to hear of his loss. Rest in Peace Judge. M. Holowienka

I was honored to serve as Judge McLaughlin's law clerk. He was a wise, generous, patient & scholarly man. I'm deeply saddened by his passing & that was I was unable to attend the services for him. May God bless the entire McLaughlin family and may His Honor rest in peace.

Judge was a a fair person and I will always remember him as the judge you always liked working with. His mild manner is something that I will never forget. My deepest condolences to the family.

It can be so hard to face the first year without your loved one, but the love of family and friends can carry you through.

my thoughts and prayers to the mc Laughlin family

Dear Joan,

I was very saddened to read of John's passing. Certainly, a very nice person who, I am sure, leaves a legacy of caring and kindness to all who have met him.

Since I reside in Florida I was unable to attend the wake and funeral. Please accept my sincere condolences.

Sincerely,

Del La Marca

John was a wonderful human being. He was my grammar school baseball coach, my high school history teacher and my lifelong friend. He was the quintessential Christian, and an example of a life well- lived to all who knew him. The same things can also be said about his lovely wife Joan. When I was teaching at Kearny High School, their children were students there, and they were among the nicest students to attend Kearny High. As I reflect on John's life, I believe his three greatest attributes...
