Not sure what to say?

I ran across this recently and am want to make a long past due comment about Alex. He hi brought me into BCBS system following my career in radio broadcasting to be Director of Communications. I learned so much from Alex about the difference between Leadership and Management and how to use both skill sets. And in the true Aelex tradition, I passed it on to younger people coming along behind me. Thank you Dr.McMahon.

My condolences and sympathies to the entire McMahon family. I have many fond memories of Mr. McMahon, from my friendship with his daughter Sarah. All of you are very much in my thoughts today.

Oh Moanie, I was so sad to hear of Alex's passing. I will have and will long remember the meetings, the conventions, the international travel, and of course his great leadership. Blessings to you as you carry on.

As a 1985 Duke MHA graduate, I give Alex full credit for saving the MHA program from extinction by migrating it into the Fuqua School. On a personal level I remember him as being approachable, refreshingly honest and willing to help. He touched many lives. I extend my sympathy to his family.

Mr. McMahon made a huge impact on my career and life. I have always respected and admired him not only for his accomplishments but also because he was a man of character, compassion and integrity. He was one of those individuals in life that you felt honored to have met and known. He will be missed by many I am sure. My sympathy to his family.

Mr. McMahon was my advisor when I was at the Duke MHA program from 87-89. He was so approachable, kind and wise and made a big impact on the direction of my career. I remember him very fondly and send my sincerest condolences to his family.
