Mr. McPherson was my football coach when I was a sub-freshman at Stn Mtn in 1960. He was a man that I looked up too through High School and after. He was also the reason my little sister went to college. My dad had lost his job due to a heart attack and my mother didn't work. There wasn't any money for my little sister to go to college when she graduated. Mr. McPherson paid, out of his pocket, for her to go to DeKalb College.
