Not sure what to say?

Ellen, I met you briefly at one of our class reunions in Vernon. John D. and I were best friends from Hawkins Elementary through high school. His mom called him Johnny and I never heard his middle name until I read it in his obit. He was always and forever "John D." He and Bill Sheridan and I were the 3 Amigos in late elementary, through junior high, and into high school until I got married in my Junior year and broke up the group. I have great memories of John D. and some great stories....

John was my best friend in high school and I was deeply saddened to learn of his passing. Ellen please accept my deepest condolences.

Ellen & Family, John donated his time & his fountain to enrich many people. And I always admired your family for the humble attitude & the generous heart you evidenced in your lives.

Ellen, I share your loss and joy that John is suffering no more and is at his eternal home. I met you only once, I believe at a Patron Party for The Wilkinson Center. You two are respected and admired for your incredible service. God bless.

Ellen, our heartfelt condolences to you and your family on the death of your husband, John. I knew him as John Dee and have fond memories of knowing him in high school. He was always sweet and kind and, after reading his obituary, those traits followed him throughout his life. His parents would have been really proud of the life he lived.
