Not sure what to say?

I was sad to hear of the loss of both John and Davina. I knew John through the Research Lab and would always enjoy my time with him when he visited Harrow or I visited Rochester. He was a charming man and very modest about his accomplishments. He was a very fine scientist. My thoughts are with his extended family....John Langford,Berkhamsted, England.

Dear Children,
Dan and I were both blessed by the friendship of your parents-as was the late Dr. Marlan. We shall always remember them...Our deepest sympathy to all. We were sorry to be out of town at the time of the memorial.

Dan Daniel and Fern Marlan Daniel

Joanne, Dave & Rob,
Your folks treated me as one of their own and I will never forget their love and cheerful dispositions. They were as Dave elegantly stated simply "lovely!" Ted Neary

my sympathys go out to the mee children and family. i dont know if you remember my husband steve who used to carpool you to north baptist school when joanne and my son scott were in kindergarten. both steve and scott have passed away. so surprised to see that your mother had passed away. i had many good times with her.

Joanne and Family, I had the honor and pleasure of sharing your dad at Baywinde...I enjoyed his company, humor, interesting tidbits of information, his integrity and his concern for others in the midst of his own discomfort. He made all of our lives richer by his mere presence. I have missed him in the months that I have been away. May you relish your memories of this remarkable man who added a richness to our lives...while I did not know his sons well, I found Joanne's support of her dad...

John was a joy and always a gentleman. I enjoyed getting to know him at Baywinde. He had a brilliant mind and clever wit. My prayers are with you.

We fondly remember John and Davina. They were both very warm and gracious. May God grant their families comfort and peace.

Dear Mee family,
John was a wonderful man. We will miss John and Davina, but will remember them forever. Our deepest sympathy to each one of you.

Maryann and I send our sincere sympathy. John was a wonderful colleague who remains a true scientist and friend.
