I will miss Uncle Johnny very much. He was someone I had hoped to see at the reunion this year because he always brought a sense of peace to my heart whether we lived in joyous or troubled times. He resonated with something that was greater than the petty toils of man and I will always remember his buddha-like smile.

I'll miss the man who when walking up the hill to go to the mail would always make a point to stop and talk to me. He was very kind, and I feel blessed to have known him.

I'm gonna miss John. I grew up just down the street from him and can remember him walking to the mail everyday and he would stop to talk to me everytime, just to say hello. He is going to be missed.
