Not sure what to say?

So very sad to hear of Mr. Mellott's passing. He was my favorite teacher in seventh grade at Lemoyne Junior High. He was the kindest, most patient teacher to all students. Rest In Peace, Mr. Mellott.

With deepest sympathy to John's family from the Central Dauphin High School Alumni Association.

My deepest condolences. As a new teacher at Crossroads, I had the privilege of being part of John's team. I remember him as being well organized, kind, and always willing to lend a hand or an ear to those in need. He had a Bob Newhart sense of humor which often lightened the mood after a stressful day. I was blessed to have known him.

St. Nicholas Serbian Orthodox Church was blessed to have Mr. Mellott as our neighbor for many many years. He was truly a gift from God and we appreciate all he did for us.

May his memory be eternal!

My condolences to John's family. I taught with him for five years at Lemoyne Junior High, and also was a member at Neidig Methodist Church for many years. I am so saddened to hear of his passing.

JOHN MELLOTT WAS A GREAT FRIEND AND A GREAT ATHLETE AT CENTRAL DAUPHIN. JOHN WILL BE MISSED. DON AND DOT STEINMEIER

Mr. Mellott was my English teacher at Crossroads Middle School, we had a great team of teachers and I could of never asked for more impressionable teachers in my life during that time. He always stood by his students and never allowed us to leave without an understanding of his teachings. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and friends. RIP Mr. Mellott!

My condolences to the Mellott family. I was so saddened to read this.

Mr. Mellott was my 7th grade English teacher at Lemoyne Middle School. He was a wonderful teacher and reminded me a lot of my dad. His class was always a bright spot for me.

As the great teachers do, Mr. Mellott truly made a difference in the lives of children.

RIP

I had Mr. Mellott for 7th and 8th grade when Crossroads first opened. I have so many great memories from his class. He was a great teacher!
