Sir, I would just like to say thank you for your service and sacrifice for our Country when you served with the USN during WW II as a crewmember of the USS Ancon(AGC-4) which saw action in both the European and Pacific Theaters of Operation. And to your family and loved ones, I wish to extend my deepest sympathy.

I worked with John in the early 80's, and we became close. Everytime I think of John ,I smile and laugh.Good man,with a good soul. My condolences .
