Not sure what to say?

I am deeply saddened to have just learned about John's passing. John was a mentor, colleague and friend. A patient teacher, respected co-chair.. A great mind and kind heart. My deepest condolences to the family. He will be missed

I am sorry to just learn of John's death. As another member of that 1973 class at SS&D, I certainly echo Robin's comments. John was a really nice guy who also happened to be a very good lawyer. I was proud to have him as a partner and a friend. Now retired, it was always a pleasure to run into him at Heinens. His dry wit always brightened the day. Judy and I extend our condolences and prayers to Kathleen and their family.

What a wonderful man
so sorry for your family's loss

I am truly saddened by John's passing. We were in the same class in law school at Michigan and began our legal careers at Squire Sanders& Dempsey as part of the largest and greatest entering class - 1973. John was a great person - smart, intelligent, and witty. At Squire Sanders John developed into an outstanding practitioner, a great partner and friend. He will certainly be missed.

John was an excellent lawyer, but an even better person. I enjoyed working with John on a number of different matters. Thoughts and prayers are with Kathleen and the rest of his family.

So sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a very bright man. My deepest condolences.

My deepest sympathy to the family. Great mind, great colleague.

Very sorry to hear of John's passing. I worked John many years ago at good old SS&D. He was always ready to lend a hand to a young lawyer in need of assistance, and his quick wit and wry sense of humor were very refreshing. Condolences to the family. I am sure he will be greatly missed.

John, I will miss you. Your deep voice was in great contrast to your gentle soul. The world has lost an intelligent and kind man.
