Not sure what to say?

Always in my heart!

John's spirit is still very alive in my life!
I will continue to share what he taught me about music and being a mentor to others.

Johns life touched many souls. Im fortunate that his life touched mine. I will pay the kindness forward and I send blessings to his family.

I was at Gilman School , a student of John's between 1972-76. My lessons included preparing to be a musician and a respectful man. I would not be the musician or the man that I am without John Merrill. If you are up there and can hear me, I love you John. Rest In Peace.

John R. Merrill was my first organ teacher and made it possible for me to study organ and church music at the Peabody Conservatory. I am forever thankful to him! He was a wonderful teacher and person! His memory will be always held in honor in my heart!
