Not sure what to say?

My sincerest condolences to the Mervine Family for the loss of your loved one, John, and pray you find comfort in Psalms 91:2.

John also served on the Houghton Academy board and it was there that I first made his acquaintance. He was a good friend and mentor. I so much appreciated his wise counsel re school matters and the good times we shared on the golf course. His humble and generous spirit were testimonies to his strong faith in our Lord. His Kingdom service continues to bless many who will never have the privilege of knowing John this side of heaven.

As you remember your love one, as God heals your broken hearts (Psalm 147:3), may your cherished memories bring you peace, comfort, and strength to endure.

So sorry to hear this new. I know he is resting in Peace. Mr. Mervine was a hard working man, very good and dear to me when I worked for Nanticoke Homes. Prayers and hugs for the family to get through this difficult time.

Remembering him fondly. Sincere condolences and prayers for the family.

Mr Mervine loved the Lord and by doing so enriched and saved the lives of many.May we continue in the same service.Prayers for his family as they walk daily without him until they are reunited in heaven.
