Not sure what to say?

Sympathy to you, Kay, and family. It was four years in Sept. we were up to see you in MI. It was wonderful to see you both, so glad we did. John was my favorite cousin, even though I took a lot of teasing from him. One winter he took me ice fishing, I was so cold; didnt catch anything that I recall. I lost interest fast! Blessings to you all, may warm memories bring smiles to your faces as you think of John-husband, father, grandfather. Love to all-

So sorry for your loss, prayers to everyone. I enjoyed my visits with John and his family and especially remembered their apartment above the Gamble store. Family reunions were another highlight.
Nanceedark haired twin cousin.

Cousin Lee wishes the best to the family! He and I stomped rats in the fields of their family farm as kids. I loved spending a summer week with John, even though I sneezed whole time due to hay fever! We shared a love of Red Ryder books. So sorry he is gone!

I was a summer employee of the MCRC years ago and he was kind and always respectful of all the college kids working there.
He was easy to get along with, had a great sense of humor. I remember him as a respected member of the engineering department at the Muskegon County Road Commission. He knew his job well.
John always had to be busy. He seemed to always have a part time job or some project going on.....I was amazed at his energy.
Sorry to read about this. I have some...

I worked with John at Farm and Fleet while I was going to college. He was always a friendly and helpful man. My family would get asparagus for years from John after I stopped working their. Hugs and prayers to his wife and family.

I worked with John for several years and always enjoyed his optimistic outlook. He bought and lived in my childhood home and would often ask me to come and take a look. I regret I never did. He was quite a guy!

John was great guy. He helped many people in his lifetime. Sue, we are so sorry to hear of your Dad's passing. With our prayers and thoughts. Cheri and Jim
