Growing up with 5 brothers, I remember John as the one who taught me to read before I started school. I earned my first money shining his shoes and ironing his shirts and khaki pants for a quarter. That was big money in the 1950´s. He took me to see Elvis Presley in "Love Me Tender" at the Franklin Theater in 1956. Rest In Peace, brother.
