Dear Candy and Michele,

Jack was probably the nicest man I ever met. Anyone who ever knew him will never forget his wonderful smile. When he was here after Nonie died, he would get up early and proclaim, "This is a day the Lord has made, let us rejoice and be glad." As a far less optimistic person than he, I could only wonder how he could maintain such a positive outlook. Every Sunday will be sad for Dick as he misses the call from Jack that meant so much. Jack was his only brother as well as best friend. On the other hand, I would guess that Dick will be having a 24/7 conversation with Jack forever.

Love,
Mary Lynn

Candy,
First of all I am so saddened by the news of Jack's passing. It seems like such a short time ago that he was a shy, sweaty-palmed, 6th grade boy walking me home from school. He was my first crush and I will never forget him. He was a good man and I am sorry for your loss and pain at this time.

Candy and Michele, It was only a few days ago when I was looking at "Nonie's" glass-topped table that I was thinking of all of you with fond thoughts. I have always thought Jack as one of the most kind men I have known. He is Matt's God parent and I was glad of that too. He will be missed by many. Prayers for all of you! Trish

Dear Aunt Candy and Michele,

I can only imagine the grief that you are going through. My heart truly goes out to you and to Uncle Jack. There is no doubt that he is in a better place, finally free of pain.

I am so saddened that it has been about 10 years since we have all seen each other. I am thankful however that I have so many wonderful memories still so vivid in my mind.

Please know that Phil, Josh and Zach send their love and our thoughts and prayers are with you.

God Bless you all!

All my love,
