Middlekauff family,
I worked 3 summers with John for Gannett Fleming engineers in the late 60s. We were on a Fallout Shelter Survey team each year. John was our team leader and kind of a big brother to me, a college student. We had a blast traveling the state looking for suitable buildings to be fallout shelters (remember this was near the end of the cold war era). John usually drove and we had favorite spots to eat.
