Not sure what to say?

In 1980 I was working on my brother Bob's 1967 Ford van that he left with me to replace the engine, before he moved to California. Bob told me to drive it out west when I finished it. John was living out on Station Rd at what we called the farm. John let me work on the van for a year at the farm. That was a turning point in my life. I had a goal to drive that van to California. I stayed out of trouble at the farm and could show off my cool step-brother to my friends too. Thanks again John!...

Big bad John!! The best big brother ever!
He taught me so much over the years. Starting with music, he turned me on to rock and roll .He taught me about cars (watched him rebuild a carburetor when I was preteen and was amazed) and tried to teach me pool and darts. He was so good at those there was no beating him. Because everything he did he did to perfection. John (Johnny as we called him then, or JEM as he sometimes jokingly called himself, after his initials) was a big brother to me. He was cool, and I admired him. Daniel Jeffers & Patricia,
John was my step brother and through out the years we were very close one day we decided to join the military together, he was my platoon leader for 18 weeks on 2 separate training missions. We lost a good soldier and I lost a good brother. I enjoyed the time we sent together. RIP my brother

We are so sorry for your loss. May he rest in peace.

John was a real "can do" type of person. He was 8 years older than me and still to this day I remember him as the coolest guy. The world has lost another great person! I will see you again some day my brother. Rest in Peace.

John, I thank you for the opportunity to be a part of your GTS family and to have known you. You will be missed and God Bless you and your familiy.
