John Allan Mikula

It is with great sorrow I just found out about John. He was a close childhood friend. Jocko and I spent time at each other’s homes. He in Upper Askam and I in Lower Askam. Condolences to John’s family.

Dear Cousins Kathy, Eileen, David and family,
Please know of my love and prayers for each of you. I am remembering John's genuinely kind, gentle, and faith-filled person. I often remember Joe Wise' version of the "Hail Mary" at times like these. He sings, "Holy Mary, Mother of our God, pray for us PILGRIMS, now and at the hour of our BIRT. Amen." John has experienced a new birth. We are still pilgrims on the journey. My prayers and love are with you.

Kathy, Eileen, David and all the family, we were all truly blessed to have known this wonderful man. He was an inspiration to all, and we will miss him greatly. May God bless you and your family in this time of sorrow.
