I miss you Pops, your great counsel in times of stress, your humor, your love, your example of what it meant to be a father. You and Mom did it right, we are all doing well, Wes passed March 28th 2025, your first grandchild, and I assume you and Wes are having a grand time over that rainbow bridge with Mom, John, your sisters, your Dad, Aunts, Cousin Peter and so many more, enjoy all the pups we all loved! John was a good Detective good Hostage Negotiator and good friend

Honored to have known and worked with John in Safe & Loft. Always a gentleman and great Detective. My condolences to the family.

I had the pleasure of meeting him toward the end of his career in the NYPD but I knew of his many times he responded to hostage/barricade situations. John was a great NYPD Detective, Hostage Negotiator and Friend. I worked with him closely during our time in SID (Special Investigations Division). I particularly remember his HNT contributions at the 48 hour situation in Kings County Hospital in 1982 and and very memorably when he and his long time partner Joe Strano joined me on the VZ bridge to successfully talk down a jumper.
