John "Jack" Miller

Thank you "Mr Jack" for being an intricate part of my childhood, growing up on Holland St. I was in "Jack's", as we kids called French Street Dairy Store, almost everyday in the late 60s and early 70s. RIP

In 1950-51 Jack asked me if i wanted to go for a ride in his new car. i was riding in Jack's 48 Chevy down 29th towards Peach when Jack was pulled over by a cop. The cop asked him "Do you know how fast you were going? Yes, He said 78 miles per hour" The cop gave him a ticket. Sorry to hear about Jack. I was out of town and Mom called to tell me. I have a lot of fond memories of him and your family - especially taking the boat out with you, Jean. I know Jack and Tommy are looking down and smiling at all of you.
