Father Minkler was a priestly priest. Many of us were raised in ,Catholic schools in a devout way. We liked what we knew it was our comfort zone. It was between us and God. Then things changed but we did not. We had no voice other than Father Minkler´s...Thank you Father and Rest In Peace. You earned it.

Father Minkler was a treasure on the altar at Immaculate Conception Church during his visits. He was greatly appreciated by Father Watroba, Father Antos and the parishioners alike. He will be sadly missed by all. May he rest in peace!

My deepest condolences upon the death of Fr. John Minkler, a faithful priest of JESUS, the Lord. He had great faith in the Holy Eucharist which was demonstrated each time he celebrated the Holy Sacrifice of the Mass. May he rest in eternal peace! Masses will be said for the repose of his soul by the Catholic Near East Association

As a nurse at the VA since 1978 I knew of father and his many kind deeds. My thoughts and prayers go out to his family and many friends. May our memories bring us peace.

To the Family of Father Minkler,
Our paths crossed many times, my Aunt and Uncle bought your family home on Ford Ave. My cousin Anne Cassidy Engelsher attended school with Father at CCHS. Most of all my cousin, Father John Turner was also a priest at the sametime. He was killed in 1975 in a car crash. He grew up across the street from your family. I am sorry for your loss and sorry for the loss of life for a man so seemingly dedicated to what he believed in. May he rest in peace.
