Not sure what to say?

Had the pleasure of meeting John through our kids running cross country with their son David. Found out we lived in the same neighborhood. John always had a smile and spoke with gentle and kind words. An example of a person who made this world a better place.

Think of John all the time especially last April 24th on his wedding anniversary and in May for his birthday. Love and miss you terribly.

Johns' friendly smile always preceded his firm and warm handshake; " How is it going," was always the greeting, as John and I passed each other on the athletic field. One descent soul has gone on to meet our maker; John will be dearly missed

I also had the distinct honor of working with John many years ago at Jay Bell Sales. I will always have fond memories of John as a respected professional, devoted husband and father, and the kindest, most genuine man you could ever know. My heart is so sad for Laurie and their sons, along with their family. What a tragic loss for all who knew him. Rest in peace, John. You were truly loved by all.

My thoughts and prayers are for Laurie and John's sons. I got to know John professionally for many years working with Jim Petrone and always found him to be positive, helpful, always a joy to work with. A truly good man and he will be missed.

I knew John way back at Santa Clara days, playing football, I was a trainer and we became friends. Great guy. Heart of gold. Funny. Dedicated. Genuine. My sympathies to his family, I am so sorry for your loss. My prayers are for all of you.

Our hearts, thoughts and prayers are with you and your family. We love you, Barry, Mary, Jonathan and Michael Joannides

You are already missed. Love you so much. Our thoughts and prayers are with you. Love, Lisa and Dick Shanahan

I knew John only for a little while at SCU but could see a truly class guy. I will pray for him and his loved ones.
