Not sure what to say?

John was my preceptor at Hutzel Hospital just as I was beginning my pharmacy career. He was very professional but still knew how to take time to laugh and smile throughout the day too. John will be missed by many. He and his family are in my thoughts and prayers.

I am so sorry to hear about John's passing. My condolences to his family.

I had the pleasure of serving with John on our subdivision board and respected his expertise in the pharmacy field. I am very sad to hear about his passing.

John was one of the regular editorial reviewers for our medication safety publication that goes to US hospitals. He made many suggestions for it over the years and he had an impact on patient safety nationally. He also authored a list of oral medicines that should never be crushed and donated that to our ISMP website so it could be available for use by US health professionals and consumers. We will be forever indebted to him for his work, which made the world a safer place. We will miss him...

I am very sorry to hear of John's passing. John was very kind and helpful to me when I was completing my Graduate work and I will never forget his support during that time. My sympathies to the Family. I have been praying for the repose of his Soul. Rest in peace John.

I was very sorry to hear of John's passing. He was a wonderful individual who was committed to improving medication safety for our patients and improving the practice of pharmacy. John served as the first Medication Safety Coordinator at the University of Michigan Hospitals and Health Centers and had a big impact on the improvement in medication safety. My condolences to his family.

I am very sorry for both the loss to the family and also for the loss to the pharmacy profession. He was a mentor to so many who are now in leadership positions in SE Michigan and around the country through his innovation, service to the profession, guidance of residents and mentorship of others in medication safety. He will be greatly missed.
