I was one of Father Mitchell's biology students at Christ The King Prep in the 1960's.
He was an amusing instructor with a droll wit and a comprehensive knowledge of his subject.
His daily quizzes kept us on our toes.
He was one of my favorite teachers.

So sorry to get the news of Father John Mitchell's death. He was a special friend and will be remembered in my prayers and I will have a mass said for him. I am in Florida and will not be able to attend the service.
