Not sure what to say?

Jack will live forever in my memories as a mentor and role model. During the time I worked for Mitchell's Ice Cream Parlor under my brother's supervision, Jack was a consistent source of positive verbal advice and guidance. But what impressed me most was not what he said but who he was and how he lived. Jack's legacy includes influencing the way I strive to live my own life, the way I try to raise my children and grandchildren, and the way I counsel my employees and students. I love...

Dear Larry, Alice and Family, my brother, Paul Wggoner, already responded but I would be remiss if I did not do so well. Jack and Larry tought us how to make ice cream and also tought us many more important things about life. I will always remember making and eating the best. More importantly the family afforded us the opourtintity to finish college and go on to carry the highest of values. Through the efforts and generosity of the Mitchell Family I was able to graduate from UC Berkeley...

My brother and I both worked for Jack, Larry, and Alice at Mitchell's Ice Cream Store a long time ago. It helped support us through our college years. Nothing but fond and good memories working at the store and was that good ice cream. We ate a lot of ice cream and never gained a pound.
Jack was a great guy to work for and a real decent human being. See you in another place Jack.

Jack was a very special person to me. I lived above the ice cream store and my ex-husband was his store manager for many many years.

You will be missed Jack by all who came in touch with you.

May you be the angel in heaven as you were on earth. God bless!

I was lucky enough to work for several years for Jack Mitchell, and never heard a negative word spoken of him. He and Larry were like uncles to me, the finest men you can find. My condolences to all on a true loss. A truly good man who lived a good life.

Jack always made me feel like more than just one of the hired hands. He always had a good word and expressed genuine interest in the trials and tribulations of high school life. Alice, Brian, and Larry, my thoughts and prayers go out to each of you. May God bless and keep you all.

I was a little girl and went and watched the Ice cream pallor moving to it's location where it sits today.
One of our biggest treats in life were getting to go to Mitchell's and getting a double scoop of your yummy ice cream this is what the city means to me, one of my fondest memories. May you rest in peace Mr. Mitchell and thanks for childhood memories when calories didn't count
