Not sure what to say?

Thank you John for all you did for all of
us in the horse world. There is not
enough space to tell story after story
on the care you gave. You put the animals
above all else in your life...and was there no matter what time of day it was.
You always loved a good party to top
off your day even tho you never seemed
to sleep. The memories you left with
us is priceless. Now you can rest dear
John.

John was a dear friend and a wonderful veterinarian. He and his family were always special to us. He gave us much joy and helped to ease our pains. Both emotions are part of owning animals. We were blessed and I am so sorry for the family...it has been a long tough struggle for him with his disease. What a fighter!! He was our vet for many, many years and a friend. Fun social events, horse shows (yes, he showed Pam Peppy)watching our children grow up in a healthy horsey atmosphere..Oh,...

So sorry to hear about the loss of Dr. Mitten, I remember him as the vet for our 4-h horses years ago.

Dr. Mitten was always so kind and caring. I so admired him, his work with horses and bravery battling Parkinson's Disease. He will be missed and remembered always.

I will never forget the time Dr. Mitten spent 2.5 hours with me as the decision to put my dying horse down was pending on my emotions. His compassion was great for animals as well as people. May his memories be a comfort to all as he will be missed.

Now you are in a position to do something about all of her suffering---she would do it for you." I will always be grateful for his compassion and gentle wisdom, when helped me to through this terrible loss. Dr. John understood the importance that...

When I worked for Cannonball Express, we would transport Equine specimens from Dr. Mitten in Snohomish to Seatac for flights all over the country. It was always a pleasure to see you Doc. Rest well.
