John (Jack) Mogel age 72 of Point Pleasant died Monday September 21st. 2020 at his home.  Jack was born in Jersey City, N.J., lived in several different areas including Freehold before moving to Point Pleasant over 50 years ago.  Jack was a businessman who owned several local businesses.  Jack was an Army reservist.  He was a member of St. Martha’s R.C. Church in Point Pleasant and was also a member of their Knights of Columbus Council.  Jack is survived by his only sister Carol Thomas and her husband Bill from Ft. Wayne Indiana. His Niece Linda Collins and her husband Joe and Jack’s nephew Brian Beaty and his wife Julie. Also, Grand nieces and nephews: Liam, Bridget and Declan Collins.  Also, Alexandra and Nolan Beaty.  As well as several cousins.

A Memorial Mass will be offered on Wednesday September 30th. At 11:00am at St. Martha’s R.C. Church in Point Pleasant.  Colonial Funeral Home in Brick is in charge of arrangements.
