John was one my favorite friends at the Work out West senior tennis drills. He always offered friendly advice about how to become a better tennis player. I live in his neighbor hood and always stopped by to talk to him when I was near by. On a few occasions I rescued Joyce when she got lost on a walk. He will be missed.
