John J. "Jack" Molloy

MOLLOY, John J. "Jack" - Of Grand Blanc, age 74, died Thursday, January 29 2009, at Genesys Hospice Care Center in Goodrich. Memorial service will be held 10AM Saturday, February 7, 2009, at Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, 1227 East Bristol Road, Burton, Father Tim MacDonald officiating. In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Genesys Convalescent Center or Jack's favorite charity. Visitation 3PM-8PM Friday at the Swartz Funeral Home, 1225 West Hill Road and 9:30AM Saturday until the time of the service at the church. Jack was born in Detroit on July 13, 1934, the son of the late John and Mary (Dougher) Molloy. On November 7, 1959, he married the former Marie Chmielewski in Detroit. Jack was an active member of Holy Redeemer Catholic Church, member of the Knights of Columbus, 3rd and 4th Degree and the Holy Redeemer Men's Club. Surviving are wife, Marie; children, Kathy (Duncan) Gray, Dan (Jennifer) Molloy, David (Kathy) Molloy, Jeff Molloy and fiancée Angela Callan; grandchildren, Allan, Megan, Andrew, Johnny, Adam, Rachel and Cole; sister, Patricia (Tom) Lynch; niece, Christine Lynch; many nieces, nephews and cousins.
