Not sure what to say?

Dear John, Annie, Mrs. Monahan and Family,
Even though I am very far away in body, know that I am with you in spirit. I feel very happy to have had the opportunity to meet your father and husband last time I was in Chicago. I know you will miss him, but also feel content that he had a rich life. I have heard nothing but good things about him from Tom. Please accept my sympathies and warm wishes for you during this time. I hope we can be together soon,
Very fondly,
Helena

Sincerest condolences. A pleasure to have known John for many years.

dear Barb,

I have so many wonderful memories of John and the trips we took together.

I am so sorry for your loss and yet most grateful for the wonderful times we shared. May our shared faith be a source of strength for you and this very difficult time.

Fr. Carl

I am so sorry for your loss. I am also sorry I am unable to make the wake, and send my deepest sympathies. I will keep you all in my thoughts and prayers.

Fr. Tom

Dear John, Annie and Family,

I am so sorry to hear about John's father leaving this earth. Please know that you are in my thoughts and prayers. It is hard to know what to say or what will bring you comfort, but know that my heart is with you.

My deepest condolences,
Love Peggy

Before John retired from Sears, as a co-worker, I worked for many years with him on international tax matters. John was a pleasure to work with - not only was he an expert in many fields of taxation, but more importantly, he was always respectful and always helpful when approached by fellow tax department associates. John was a kind and good person and I know that his family will miss him greatly. I extend my sincerest sympathies to them in this difficult time.

Dear John and Family,
We are so sorry for your loss and are thinking about you. As requested, we have made a donation in your father's name to the Minnesota Friends of the Orphans.
Our deepest condolences.
