I met John in June 2022, as a Mandela Washington Fellow, at Michigan State University. He was assigned as my Mentor through the fellowship. He was so accessible, and supportive in guiding myself and my colleagues. He will surely be missed. My prayers and thoughts are with his family, friends and colleagues.
