Bob and I have just learned of Jack's passing, and this is the only way we have of relaying our sympathy. Jack and Bob ("Mac" to his VA-155 Navy squadron officers) served together at Moffett Field and aboard the carrier "Hancock." Jack was Bob's best man at our wedding 64 years ago. We've kept in touch, via Christmas cards mostly, over all these years, It was only when our last card was returned two days ago (9 months late) that Bob took to the internet to learn of Jack's death.
