Dear Betsy & Family,

So sorry to hear this very sad news. We always felt that Jack was invincible! We cherish the times that we spent with all of you years ago. Memories of working with Jack at ACC in Baltimore, Christmas Eve and dinners at your house, and so many other good memories will stay with us forever! Jack was a force to be reckoned with! The world has lost a great man, Heaven has gained an angel!

Jack was my executive director when I first started to work (actually intern) at Catholic Charities in Hartford. He was a great role model and leader.

He was extremely generous to me in terms of being flexible about my word schedule when I went to grad school while working full time. While working full time and going to grad school full time wasn't easy, he made it easier for me by letting me rearrange my schedule and taking time off to study, etc. I will always be grateful for...

I had the privilege and honor of working with Jack in my roles at United Way in Hartford. There is no finer individual and I am so sorry to learn of his passing.
