Well Maw is closing the book tonight after dinner. Right now again we have the most beautiful sunset....I know that is you. I am cooking every night at this time and look out and see you there in that sunset and smile.. and hoping the kids eat the dinner I am making. I have alot of pictures of you that I had to put away...for now..I cry when I see them and I do not want the boys to see me upset. They know where you are and ask often when you are coming home and I tell that you are home with...

Good Morning My Son:

I finished the poem I told you about. It's not one of my best - my mind just doesn't work really good right now.

As I sit and look out my window
I watch leaves dancing across the grass
And over small patches of unmelted snow
That look like bits of glistening glass

I'm still looking out my window
And see birds all flying about
Their fluttering wings are letting me know
You're an Angel without a doubt

And as I watch the magic...

I'll see ya on the other side. Happy smiles..happy times..YOU..I will miss. Forever in my dreams.

I love you,
your kid.

Alison

I got the message. And you know that I love you too Bro. You know we still have this warm weather and I know that is you...still have those sunsets...You brighten us all up Jack. I know what you told me twice on messages boards and believe me that I Love You Too!!! Well this may be the last time I can write to you..well on line anyway, I know that you are happy and you know that you are loved very much by many people. Know that I love you and so do the boys. Well this may be it Jack...I love...

Good Morning "Little" Jack:

I wrote you a really long letter a week ago but it was never entered. I don't know why because when I hit the submit button, it came up "Thank you for your entry". Must be in cyberspace some where. Look it up while you're soaring around up there!!

Remember when all of us would go to Memorial Lake to fish? We would stop at the store on the corner where you turn to go back to the lake (a house now) and buy subs, chips and soda and spend the day...

Happy Belated Valentines Day!! And remember it was Alison's anniversary too. Do you remember that time in high school when you had that HUGE party and Alison and I came home early from the beach to clean the house?? Not knowing that if you use Cheer laundry soap and your parents got the carpets cleaned the next mos that the guy was there all day to remove all the suds he created with the steamer? Good times..well then it was not... but now it is!! Still having those beautiful sunsets down...

Happy Friday 13th!
I have been thinking of alot. I think about all the fun we had growing up..riding 4 wheelers...playing on the farm..the beach.
I miss you Jack. I know that you are safe and happy. We will be closing this book soon, hope that you have enjoyed us talking to you!
I love you brother.

Good Morning "Little" Jack:

Well, you sent your spirit to me again yesterday. Thank you. I didn't mention it to anyone yet. Wait till I tell your dad. As soon as I walked into the front door, I smelled your presence. People will think I've lost it, but I know how spirits work and I KNOW what I smelled. Each person has their own unique smell and I know it was you.

I wanted the clothing you were wearing that night but when I called the funeral home, they told me you were...
