I'm sorry to hear about the loss your dad, my prayers are with you and Linda and the rest of the family. May God Bless you all in your time of need.

For 5 years I sat at a desk across from John's desk at Cater's Furniture. When he retired in 1993, I stayed in touch with him for the rest of his life. He was my boss, mentor and friend in every sense of the word. I have never met a kinder, more selfless man in all my life. Everyone speaks kindly of the dead, but there are not enough kind words in the English language to do justice to praising John’s character. His passing has left a hole in the heart of everyone who knew him.

Harvey was a great manand will be greatly missed.My prayers are with his family

Allan and I will always remember John's humor and positive outlook on life. We especially enjoyed his cartoons and drawings.

'HARVEY' was a wonderful, loving father.I will always remember how his eyes would twinkle when he laughed.He loved you all so very much.I felt sad you lost him Christmas day.My heart goes out to each and everyone of you.My thoughts and prayers are with you. Ive thought of you every day.I remember another Christmas, a happy time, Football,Us gathered for a picture and whitey the cat crawling up through the middle of your Christmas tree! Mr. Morse was a kind gentleman and a great advertising man. I learned a lot about business and being kind to people from him. He encouraged me many times when I needed it. I will always remember him. It was a privilege to know him.

Harvey was a very special part of my of my life. He was everything my sister said & more. He was a wonderful Artist. He had a great sense of humor, always making us laugh. He supported my love for animals & his sweet dog Jakey will miss him too. He was everything to me, he will be in my heart & thoughts forever.

Harv was my father, mentor, friend and most of all savior. He adopted my sister and I when we very young and started raising another family all over again. Harv was an honorable man, I never saw him get angry, and he was able to make light out of difficult situations. We will miss him greatly, Thank you Harv for everything.
