Not sure what to say?

I would see him in passing at the Midtown Crossing Prairie Life (now Genesis), and he was always friendly and polite. I overheard him talking once about a stepfather he was assisting, who I think lived in Elkhorn, and he seemed to have a huge heart. Gone way too soon and my thoughts are with his partner and family for their loss.

I just heard about John, and my heart sunk. Even though I have not seen him for many years, John was always someone that I loved seeing in high school, & college--happy, smiling, kind, friendly and genuine. I am sending love to his husband, entire family, children, and friends--what a tremendous loss. Rest easy, dear John.

We only met John and his husband once at Bill and Frank's Fort Lauderdale home. Immediately we knew what a beautiful man we had the opportunity to have met that day. May you rest in peace. God bless you and the family.

I am stunned and saddened to read of John's passing at such an early age. Our condolences and prayers to his family and friends back in Omaha.

Enjoyed working with John. He was a great guy and always had a smile on his face. I truly admired him and he will be missed. Gone too soon. Prayers to the family.

My sincerest condolences to Andy and the girls. I can't imagine what you're going through. My heart breaks for you all.

Group of 10 Memorial Trees

To John's extended family: I remember John well from his years at Prep. He was very bright and funny, with a wonderful group of friends. I remember his parents well, too; very involved and supportive. I am deeply saddened by John's death at so young an age. I rembered him at Mass and will continue to do so. May God console all who loved him.

We are sorry to hear of your loss. May each passing day bring happy memories of John. Sincerely, Janine, Mark, London and Rain Emmons
