Still missing you John. I remember you everytime I enter more information on the Family tree.

John, I loved you then, and miss you still. It's time to remember John Mowery. He is probably the one menber of the Schindler family who has touched almost every one of us over age 40. He was there for many of us when we were born, when we were baptised, he was ther for many as we graduated from High School if you went to Bishop McDevitt. He was there when moany of us were married, and yes, when a family member died, and when you were lost and didn not know what to do, John was...

Thank you for the good times, that were and some of the best times in my young life in the Boy Scouts, camping at Hidden Valley, Caledonia and other camps. I will also remember the fun times working in the Bishop McDevitt cafeteria.

God Rest John and Reward Him for His Years of Selfless Service to Others

Upon hearing of John's passing my wife Donna said "He's home for Christmas"

The usual lyrics to the song Amazing Grace are incorrect . "...and saved a wretch like me" should be "...saved and set me free". God made us in his likeness therefore we are not wretches.

John was more than a respected member of the church, but he attended to many family functions including Births, marriages, and Deaths, His obituary well documents his service to his church and community, but in no way could anything less than a book document all the segments in time where John was so important and appreciated in the community.
