John Lane Moyer Jr.

John was one of the people who was one of a kind. He left his mark on this world wherever he was, and you never forget him once you met him. His personality was only surpassed by the big outdoors that he loved so much, as he did his wife Ruth and the rest of his family. RIP John.

John was a wonderful man and a friend since high school. We lived next door while he boarded during high school. I moved to Rawlins from Washington, DC in 1957 and he was the first friend I made there. He helped make what could have been a difficult transition easy. We didn´t see each other much after high school but when we did it was as if no time had passed. When my step-father, Reuel Armstrong, died John organized the Shrine vigil at his gravesite 28 years ago. Reuel was a past potentate...
