I hadn't heard about Jack's passing until now. I was twice his cabin counselor at Camp Agawam in the late-1990s. When I think about Jack, he always had a quiet, gentle presence and sense of humor that was so easy to get along with, always brought smiles to those around him. And I remember bumping into him last at a yoga studio in San Francisco around 2010, and he came right up to me and said, "Hey Loot, it's Jack Mueller, from Camp Agawam!". Jack! Remember the time we climbed into the loft during history class? One of my favorite memories. I will never forget...

Jack had a big impact on my life, from high school and beyond. No matter what, he was always there for me. He was no fair-weather friend, but a sincere and caring one through and through. Words cannot express how impactful his loss is. I only hope that healing for his family, and for anyone who loved him, may soon begin.
