John and I knew each other in junior high in Detroit, where we had a "radio show," reading the morning announcements over the P.A. system. We visited each other a time or two after he moved to Saginaw, and reconnected decades later when he made several visits to Atlanta, where I now live. His sense of humor was the same as I remembered. I knew Dr. Mulder--John, as he preferred to be called--professionally, as an expert witness. His vast knowledge was evident, as was his passion for his work and his compassion for all people. This world was lucky to have him, and his loss is a great one. My condolences to his family.

It was a great pleasure to know Dr. Mulder. He provided expert reviews and opinions on cases for my office many times. In talking to him, he was so good in breaking complex issues down for a novice to understand clearly. More memorable though, was what a kind and generous person he was with his time. I will miss chatting with and learning from him. My deepest sympathies to his family.

So sorry to hear this very sad news. My sympathy to Lisa and the entire family.

Dr. Mulder was a great guy; he helped deliver my son who is now 37 years old! Back on January 28, 1988. My prayers go out to the family.

It was a real treasure to collaborate with this kind gentle talented guy. Working in Detroit, it was such a joy to be welcomed by John to collaborate and socialize across the miles!
