Prayers and support go out to the Mullan Family. I was a patient of Dr. Mullan's at the age of 17 in 1973. He treated me with such respect and caring. He always spoke directly to me, never deferring only to my parents in making decisions. He had such a generous, caring disposition and a wonderful sense of humor. He was able to make me laugh during an extremely difficult time for me and my family. John (Sean) Mullan leaves a legacy of grateful people: his patients, his friends, his...

Our son, Will, was diagnosed with a grade 3 astrocytoma in the mid-80's shortly after he graduated from College. We were extremely fortunate to have had Dr. Mullan perform surgery on him. We will never forget the care which Dr. Mullan provided Will, his calm demeanor when we were in a state of panic, and his compassion. Thanks to this wonderful surgeeon we still have our son. Please accet our sincere condolences to the Mullan family.

Sean Mullan operated on my husband for an AVM in 1990. During the operation there was a bleed and my husband lost 27 pints of blood. Several doctors said that "only Mullan could have pulled this off" and I truly believe this. My husband was able to live a fairly normal life and see our children grow. My husband kept in touch with with doctor Mullan occasionally over the years. His talent and expertise as a surgeon were surpassed only by his compassion and care for his patients and their...
