To John's family: I'm so sorry to hear of your loss. John and I grew up together in Winthrop, and when I first heard his voice on WWLP I recognized him immediately. I lived in Westfield at the time with my husband and children. John will always be remembered as a man of goodness and kindness. God Rest his soul.

To Johns family and friends, my heart felt sympathy.

John gave me my first professional job in broadcasting. I pray that he shall rest in peace. My condolences to family.
