Not sure what to say?

On Sunday, 25 July, 12 noon to 2PM a memorial service was held at Our Lady of Lourdes Church in Oakland, CA to remember and celebrate the life of Johnny Mulligan. In attendance were his friends and lovers. Many shared stories of how John touched them with his open and loving heart, big beautiful eyes, strong arms and his honesty. As John requested Bag Pipes played to open and close the ceremony. We will miss him. Six of us drove his Cremains to Half Moon Bay, Pillar Point Harbor, and boarded...

The John I knew was wild and crazy(usually in public!) He enjoyed the shock value and I always laughed. He was quiet and introverted at times. Oh and could he be stubborn. Once he made a decision that was it! Period. There was that strong and handsome John that strutted down the Long Branch boardwalk with that Kearny attitude. I only knew Johnny for a little over a year, but I always enjoyed seeing him and listening to him. Even if he was having a bad day, I gained encouragement and hope from him. He was courageous, honest, and loving. He also had a great sense of humor. I will miss him greatly!!

John is a member of my community in California. He is loved by men, boys, women and girls, the elders and the children. He is remembered for his honesty, courage, gentleness and laugh. I miss John and our time was too short. Love to his family, East and West, Jim

This is Patty Johnny's sister, I would just like to say Thank You to everyone for thier support and kind word about my brother. It is very clear that he was loved by many and will be greatly missed. I Love you John!
