Not sure what to say?

What a sad shock to find this obit. You brought us 46 years of love and joy with many cards and letters. You had faith in us from day one back in 1976 when you and Father Charlie married us at St. Peter´s in North Ridgeville. So happy we got to see you on our 46 wedding anniversary two years ago. You were such a big part of so many people. Thank you for being such a big part of our lives! Rest in peace dear friend. God has gained another Angel

A great priest who will be looking after all those involved in Catholic education from heaven.

Great priest, great teacher, understood what it meant to form young men, and a tough handball opponent!

I was fortunate enough to have lived two doors down in the Borromeo Seminary dorms. Every time I would come back from break I would bring a plate of homade shortbread from my mom. It didn't take long before. She'd send me back with two and one would find its way down to Father Murphy's room. Rest well father.

Was lucky to have known Fr Murphy at St Ignatius, he was a helpful math tutor and it was always a pleasure to drop in to discuss school and baseball. Truly a life well lived!

Fr. Murphy was a great priest and the most wonderful seminary professor one could ever want. He was a role model, a friend and a brother.

Good Bye Jack, you knew me for 66+ years, as a neighbor and friend. You offered guidance in times of need. You will truly be missed, you made a difference.
