Not sure what to say?

Dear Mrs. Murphy, Sons, and the entire Murphy Family, John was always a truly nice guy, with a friendly word - from classes in high school to the days in this neighborhood.

Enie & sons,
I had the pleasure of working as John's secretary from about 1985-1990. What a great man of character and a love for his family. I was just telling the people I work with now that he was the best person I ever worked for. It has been many years since I've seen or talked with John and only recently heard of his retirement and now today (Christmas Day) I hear of his passing. I want you to know that you and your family are in my prayers. May you find the strength you need to...

I met and became freinds with John in the 60's,right after he moved from Scranton. John soon became one of the Garage guys. John was always one of the good guys, with his great Irish smile and laughter. Having spent a lot of time with "Murph" at McDevitt and the Garage he will always be in my memories and they are all good. My Prayers are with you and your Family. John, "the Garage" will miss you..

Murp was a friend of mine from the 70's. He was a gentle man who always had a smile on his face. I saw him about 5 years ago and he spoke so highly of his family. I am so sorry for your loss.

I worked with John years ago at Revenue and he was a wonderful guy. I know he will be missed. My prayers are with you and family.

What can I say about John that has not already been said!! He was a truly "blessed" man and this is shown by all the testimonies that have been written about him. I will miss that wonderful sense of humor and that winning smile. Although I worked with John as a Deputy in the Register of Wills Office, I was pleased that I could call him a friend!
Please know my thoughts and prayers are with your family and May God hold you close in his loving arms!

Loss is never easy, and even more difficult around the holidays. My prayers are with you during this time. Life is very precious.

Enie,
I will never forget John walking into Allen's Market several times a week and teasing him about always buying ice cream. His smile was contagious. My thoughts and prayers are with you and your family.

Pat and Tim,
Take care of your mom and always remember the good times with your dad.

Enie & Sons,

What a special person John was to us in the Register of Wills Association. I will always remember him for his quick wit and his great sense of humor. May God bless you at this difficult time.
